Maths and Nature measuring different things

Reflection 5 March 2021

In Maths and Nature we went outside and we chose things from nature like sticks and leafs.

Something I don't understand is how to measure the things with the stick that I used. We were put in groups. In my group I had Tavi and Trilby

One question I have is how many times can I measure a the student center building with the stick I used

I would like to learn more about is different measurement

Reflection week 8

 Week 8

1. Today I feel like our team work wasn't as good as usual. Not much of us were doing work and it was a total mess

2.  What we did to get over challenges was having an agreement and solving it.

3. Telling us what we need to do and helping us how to improve

4. I don't really know what we need to bring

1. Today I think we have used our time okay. We did have some accidents and made some mess but it was ok.

2. Our biggest achievement is making nine stress balls.

3. Jack, Oli, Codie and Logan's product is cool. They're making fishing lures

4. Next week we need to make more slime and stress balls

Reflection week 6

 Week 6

 1.  Today I think we have used our time wisely but we did at one point stop working and started playing with our product.

2. Our biggest achievement is we have planned to meet up in the weekends to continue making more so we have enough to sell.

3. I think Mikayla, Timiah and Verity's product is really cool. They're making snow globes made out of reusable glass jars. They are using  glitter and clay, the clay they are making things to put inside and the glitter for snow like glitter

4. We need to make sure we have enough to sell because market day is on December the third.

 Week 5

1.  I think we've used my time wisely today.

2. Our biggest achievement is we made some progress and no one distracted us

3. Hazel, Khloe and Bella's idea is really cool. They used sticks that they found so all their materials are natural. They made reeves out of stick and I think it will sell well because they look pretty cool and they're gonna look good on doors or decoration

4. We need to make sure we have more balloons to make more stress balls.

Come down golden

For reading we got a book called Come down golden. Our task is to make Louis a person from the book.
I found it easy to make the person. 
I found it challenging to find the right shapes to make them. Here it is

Parihaka

For R.E. we are learning about parihaka and there people. Parihaka is a peaceful community in Taranaki. It lays between Taranaki cost and Taranaki mountain. This village was important because it was for different  Māori tribe to live went there homes get destroyed. Here it is
